Users only need to enable the DLNA media server function in the NAS management background and set up shared media folders for videos, pictures, and audio. After ensuring the projector and NAS are connected to the same local area network, the projector’s built-in media browser can automatically search and identify the NAS device. Users can directly browse and play stored media files on the projector without any complex wiring or software installation. The second method is wired Ethernet connection, suitable for scenarios requiring ultra-high-definition 4K video playback and extremely stable transmission. Connect the projector’s network port to the NAS or router via an Ethernet cable, which effectively avoids network lag and picture stuttering caused by wireless signal interference.
For Android system projectors, users can further expand connection functions by installing dedicated NAS client applications, such as DS Video for Synology NAS and QNAP client software. These professional clients support more powerful functions including offline caching, video transcoding, and classified management of media libraries, greatly optimizing the viewing experience. In addition, this connection mode has obvious practical advantages. It centralizes all media resources on the NAS for unified management, saves local storage space of projectors and mobile devices, and supports multi-terminal simultaneous access. Whether for long-term movie watching, picture browsing, or course video playback, the combination of projectors and NAS can create a more tidy, efficient, and high-quality audio-visual environment for users.
