Screen casting stuttering, frame dropping, and delay are common problems in wireless projection of projectors, which seriously affect the viewing experience of videos, games, and meetings. Most screen casting stuttering problems are caused by unstable network transmission, rather than equipment failure. Wireless screen casting relies on Wi-Fi signal transmission data. When the network signal is weak, interfered, or congested, the data transmission speed will decrease, resulting in incomplete data reception by the projector and frame stuttering. In home and office environments, multiple devices such as mobile phones, computers, and televisions connected to the same Wi-Fi will occupy network bandwidth, leading to insufficient bandwidth for projector screen casting and real-time data transmission congestion.

Unreasonable Wi-Fi settings and signal interference are key hidden causes of screen casting stuttering. Most routers support 2.4G and 5G dual-band Wi-Fi. The 2.4G band has strong penetration but slow transmission speed and serious signal interference, which is easy to cause stuttering during high-definition screen casting. In contrast, the 5G band has fast transmission speed, low delay, and less interference, which is more suitable for high-definition and 4K screen casting. In addition, if the projector is far away from the router, or there are walls, metal obstacles, and electromagnetic equipment such as microwave ovens and Bluetooth devices between them, the Wi-Fi signal will be attenuated and interfered, resulting in unstable screen casting transmission. Outdated projector system and screen casting software versions will also lead to incompatible transmission protocols and cause stuttering.

Targeted network optimization skills can completely solve screen casting stuttering problems and improve projection fluency. First, prioritize connecting the projector and the screen-casting device to the 5G high-speed Wi-Fi band, and disconnect idle network devices to free up bandwidth resources. Second, adjust the placement position of the router and projector to reduce obstacles and distance, and keep away from electromagnetic interference equipment to ensure stable signal transmission. Third, update the projector system, screen casting software, and mobile terminal screen casting functions to the latest versions to optimize transmission protocols and compatibility. For long-term high-definition screen casting scenarios, wired network connection can be used instead of wireless Wi-Fi to completely eliminate signal instability problems. Finally, regularly restart the router and projector to clear network cache and solve network congestion caused by long-term operation.
