HN30A Portable - HN Series Projector

Many consumers choose projectors for home viewing because they are more eye-friendly than TVs and mobile phones, but improper selection and long-term wrong use of projectors will still cause eye fatigue, dryness and even vision loss, so it is necessary to master scientific eye protection pit avoidance knowledge. First of all, we must abandon the wrong cognition that “all projectors are eye-protective”. Low-priced inferior projectors on the market usually adopt low-cost light sources and crude light filtering technology, which contain high-intensity blue light and stroboscopic hidden dangers. Long-term viewing will cause continuous damage to the retina, far more harmful than qualified display devices. When purchasing, priority should be given to products with official eye protection certifications such as low blue light and no stroboscopic.

The brightness setting and viewing environment are key factors affecting eye health during long-term use. Many users habitually turn on the maximum brightness of the projector and watch videos in a completely dark environment. The strong light contrast between the super bright screen and the dark surroundings will cause the eye pupils to continuously adjust, resulting in rapid eye fatigue. The correct way is to adjust the appropriate brightness according to the ambient light: turn down the brightness appropriately in a dim room, and turn up the brightness moderately in a bright environment to keep the screen light soft and uniform. At the same time, avoid long-term uninterrupted viewing. It is recommended to take a 5-10 minutes eye rest every 40 minutes of viewing to relax the ciliary muscles and relieve eye fatigue.

In addition, screen clarity, projection distance and focal length adjustment also affect eye protection effect. Blurred projection screens and out-of-focus images will make the eyes unconsciously focus hard, leading to visual fatigue and soreness in a short time. It is necessary to ensure that the projector is accurately focused and the screen is clear before viewing. The viewing distance should be kept more than 2 meters, avoiding too close viewing. At the same time, avoid direct eye contact with the projector lens light source, so as to prevent strong light from stabbing the eyes. In addition, regular cleaning of the projector lens to avoid dust affecting the imaging clarity, and turning off the machine in time when not in use to avoid long-term standby light radiation, can effectively reduce eye damage and realize safe and long-term viewing.
